ARoFIIN follow up workshops on Tackling Obesity in ASEAN - Philippines
Time: 8:00am – 11:00am

Following the successful launch of the report in collaboration with The Economic Intelligent Unit on ‘Tackling Obesity in ASEAN: Prevalence, Impact and Guidance on Intervention’ earlier this year, ARoFIIN is now holding a half-day workshop in Manila, Philippines on 5 December 17.

Through this workshop, as well as the workshops that will be held in other countries, ARoFIIN aims to develop at least one possible action that we can recommend collectively as a group to policymakers as a means of tackling the double burden of malnutrition.

Partnerships to Promote Healthy Eating and Active Lifestyle in Asia

Partnerships are the underlying necessity to achieve sustainable improvements in development. It is through partnerships that scalable, cost-effective and multi-stakeholder strategies that drive food innovation and a positive change in consumer behaviour can be explored.

This dialogue, conducted in partnership with the Responsible Business Forum (RBF), will address how various stakeholders can collaborate, to invest in solutions to improve health and nutrition, particularly in children through an open dialogue on the existing challenges in multi-stakeholder partnerships that might hinder with the public sector, as well as other stakeholders from achieving a common goal that promotes a healthier lifestyle in Asia.
